Couples

Each stage of a couple’s relationship brings its own rewards and challenges, whether dating, newly married, together for several years, or partners for decades. Different situations can bring stress on a relationship like children, work, financial pressure, and health concerns. People don’t enter into a relationship wanting to feel disconnected, or to be constantly arguing. They certainly don’t expect there to be infidelity or thoughts of divorce. Yet these things do happen.

When working with couples, I guide partners in examining ineffective, frustrating patterns of relating, and learn to connect in ways that promote safety and trust. Couples are also able to heal wounds that have become barriers in the relationship. This results in a revitalized relationship and a stronger attachment which becomes the basis to handle future challenges.

If you are just starting to have problems, or even right on the brink of divorce, I believe that there is always hope that your relationship can improve if both people are willing. I have helped many couples move from being stuck in disconnection and conflict to having a bond that they have wished for.
